Now people say “soak wolfberries in a thermos cup”. People need maintenance, and the younger they look, the same is true for sprinklers. If you want to effectively extend the service life of sprinklers, you need to pay attention to the detailed maintenance of all aspects of sprinklers. The following is our daily maintenance learning video for sprinklers, including the maintenance of chassis, engine, and upper parts.

For the maintenance of chassis and engine, please follow the requirements of the vehicle chassis and engine manual.

  1. Frequently check the sealing of connectors, switches, water suction hoses and other components of the water system. If leakage is found, repair or replace the seal immediately.
  2. Frequently check the fixing of the water tank, pump rack, and bracket of the sprinkler. All nuts should be tightened to ensure that the connection is tight and reliable.
  3. Frequently check the connection between the power take-off and the water pump. The connection should be reliable and operate normally. If the power take-off and water pump are found to leak oil during use, the seal should be replaced.
  4. The vehicle water system has no antifreeze device. After using it in cold weather, the water pump, water tank and water system should be drained immediately to prevent the water pump from freezing and cracking; at the same time, all the working ball valves should be opened to drain the remaining water to prevent the valves and pipes from freezing and cracking.
  5. The medium passing through the ball valve should not be too dirty to avoid damaging the sealing ring and reducing the service life of the ring valve. The ball valves should not be operated in a half-open state for a long time, otherwise the sealing ring will be easily deformed.
  6. The pump filter should be frequently disassembled and cleaned to prevent the residue from clogging the filter and affecting the water pump pressure.
  7. Since there is a wood glue pad between the tank body and the car beam, the U-bolts of the water tank will loosen due to the deformation of the wood glue after loading. Check and adjust the tightening frequently.
  8. When pumping water from an outdoor pond, be sure to estimate the depth of the pond. If the water source is too shallow, you need to dig deeper manually or choose a deeper water source. When pumping water, be careful to avoid stones, mud and other garbage entering the water pipe.
  9. Avoid emergency braking for new cars, as this will impact the brake system that is still in the process of running-in, increase the impact load on the chassis and engine, damage the tires, and easily leave brake marks on the brake disc. Therefore, it is best not to use emergency braking within the first 300 kilometers of the sprinkler truck. Of course, this is under the premise of ensuring safety. If there are any uncontrollable reasons in reality, it should be based on the actual situation.
  10. Go to the corresponding service station of the sprinkler truck chassis on time for the first maintenance and regular maintenance. It is not advisable to perform the first maintenance too late or too early, because the mileage of the first maintenance is calculated through scientific experiments. Regular inspections can better maintain the sprinkler truck.
