When maintaining a curtain-side semi-trailer, you need to pay attention to the following common problems:
1.Maintenance of the curtain:
- The curtain should be kept away from fire and highly corrosive solutions.
- There are reinforcing ribs and anti-wear belts on the inner surface of the curtain. If damaged, it should be updated in time to avoid damage to the curtain.
- There are rolling tubes at both ends of the curtain, which tighten the side curtain together with the tensioning device of the corner column. The tension should be appropriate.
- After using the curtain tensioner, fix the handle to prevent the side curtain from loosening or scratching.
- If the curtain is damaged, it should be repaired in time to avoid losses.
2.Maintenance of flexible media:
- During loading and unloading, be careful not to tear or scratch the flexible media. If damaged, it should be repaired in time.
- Check whether the flexible media strip is loose. If it is loose, it should be repaired as soon as possible.
- The flexible media is glued to the steel plate with strong glue. If debonding occurs, glue should be repaired in time.
- When the flexible medium is contaminated by liquids such as sewage, strong acid, and strong alkali, it should be cleaned and dried in time before use.
3.Maintenance of sliding posts and side fences (cargo cross bars):
- When moving the sliding posts, keep them tilted outward by about 5 degrees and add a small amount of lubricating oil to the rollers.
- When moving the sliding posts, do not push hard in the direction of the track to prevent the sliding posts from leaving the track.
- When moving to the required position, fix the sliding posts to prevent damage to the side curtains during operation.
- The side fences should be fixed to the cross bar interface to prevent them from falling off during transportation.
4.Inspection of electrical systems and lamps:
- Check whether each electrode is well connected, confirm whether each lamp is working properly, and replace the electrode wiring if necessary.
- Check all lamps to ensure that they are working properly.
5.Inspection of brake system and suspension components:
- Check whether the brake system has air leaks and test whether it can brake.
- Check the tightness of all suspension components according to the torque data provided.
6.Axle and lubricant inspection:
- Check the axle lubricant for leakage.
7.Fasteners inspection:
- Check all fasteners, especially those for outriggers, tires, axles, etc., and tighten them to the recommended torque parameters.
8.Towing pin and brake inspection:
- Check the wear of the towing pin.
- Check whether the brake is normal.
9.Lubrication:
- Regularly add grease to each lubrication part. When adding grease, pay attention to cleaning the refueling utensils and oil filling cups first.
Through the above maintenance and inspection, the normal operation of the curtain-side semi-trailer can be ensured and its service life can be extended.
